This page ecplains the building and facilities we have in Merseyside Polytechnic as we elaborate a short summary to each of the individual buildings within each area.
As you might have already noticed during the tour of the school, we have numerous building around the area painted with different colors. Well, this is to represent for where the students on the course they had attended to and study till the end of semester! A few notable buildings are as followed: School of Infocomm Technology and School of Aerospace Engineering, School of Nursing and School of Mass communication and many more!
Our school also has several location with retail shops where is bring convenience to all of our students and staffs if they were ever in need to stop byand purchase items. A few common retail shops we have are the mamma shops, Popular, Watson and our very own Optometry Centre where our interns and previous graduates come and work here!
To keep our students energized and maintaining a active lifestyle, we have a large Indoor Sports Hall where most of our co curricular activities are held and is also the place where we have our Freshmen Orientation Programmes for our Year-1 Students! A few sports we have are such as: Soccer, Swimming, baseball and Volleyball.
Our student's health is our top priority and we understand that our school is fairly enormous to wander around and we need places where students can eat and restore their energy. Which is why we have not 3, but 8 food centres in total around the place! We have Food Club 23, Hawker Centres, Cafes (Starbucks & Coffen bean) and even fast-food restaurants (Mcdonald, Subway, KFC)!
We understand that while our student academic matters are important, their mental well is just as importnat as well. Which is why we had taken a step ahead and installed break rooms within each building where students can go and relax, release their stress. Inside the break room we have board games, pool and game consoles just for them to use and enjoy with their fellow friends!
We have a total of 2 Indoor Sports Hall and Outdoor Fields for the students where Physical Educations are usually held. In them we have equipments for them to set up and use like Floorbal, Netball, Badminton and Indoor Futsal.
